Packing advice

To return your package, follow the steps below. Here we explain how to ship your package safely and in its entirety. You are responsible for the state in which Gomibo or the repair shop receives your product. You will receive an email from us when we have received your package.

Step 1: Packaging your product

  1. Reset your device and delete all accounts (e.g. Google, Find My iPhone). This is a requirement for the processing of your device.
  2. Remove your SIM card and any memory card from the device. You can keep these and you do not need to send them to us.
  3. You can also remove the case and other accessories from your device. You can also keep these. If you choose to ship your accessories, this is at your own risk.
  4. Put your device in a small box:
    1. When exchanging or cancelling, send the device in the original device box.
    2. When you are sending it for repairs, use a different box. You can reuse a box. In case of repairs, sending the original box is at your own risk.
    3. Are you sending an accessory? Then always send the original packaging if you still have this. Even if you are sending the product for repairs.
  5. Fill empty space in the box with, for example, bubble wrap.
  6. Use a rubber band to close the box. Never stick anything onto the original device box! That way, the box remains neat and tidy.

Step 2: Packaging the package

  1. Pack the smaller box in a sturdy shipping box. You can reuse a box, but make sure there are no other labels or stickers on it.
  2. Please enclose a letter stating:
    1. What you want us to do with your product (exchange, cancel, or repair);
    2. When cancelling: your bank account number;
    3. In the case of defects: a description of the problem;
    4. In the case of defects: your packing slip/invoice, this is your proof of warranty. Download these via your account. Without this proof, your product may not get repaired.
  3. Fill empty spaces with protective material, such as bubble wrap or newspapers.

Step 3: Print and stick shipping label

  1. Print out the shipping label with the delivery address and return address.
  2. Check that your return address on the shipping label is correct. If the address is incorrect, you can change it (cross out and write next to it).
  3. Stick the label on the box so that there are no loose corners or edges. The label will then stay in place.

Tip! Don't have a printer? Download the label on your phone and have it scanned at the UPS location.

Step 4: Send and done!

  1. Drop the package off at a UPS location near you.
  2. We will send you an email as soon as we receive your package.
